How to change/edit tags?

I’m trying to move the helmet ranks to appear on sleeves, and I read one of the older topics where it says it’s the tags and stuff…so I was wondering, how to edit those tags in order to make it work?

You can’t.
The helmets are separate MD3 models. The arms are part of the player model MDM files. While you could modify the helmet, you won’t be able to modify the player model until the tools are available.
I think your best bet would be to rewrite the rank shaders so that they change the arm skins, and make new skin images for the arms with the ranks on.
Note that I’ve not tried this, or even looked to see if it would work, so you might need a code mod to do it.
