(needforWeed) #1

Anyone knows how to cancel it? Is there any chance to get my money back? Or at least an other game

Yeah just send an email to Steam Support, and they’ll refund your money provided the game isn’t released yet.

Are you going for a different preorder bonus?

Thank you!

I’m gonna preorder the DVD disc for 40 € instead of Steams digital 49.99.

retail/DVD ftw.
never buy “cheap electronic replica”/Chinese-quality/valve-made.
/&other random fuel for flame/holy-wars.
/cookies&coffee.

You`re still tied to Steam anyway, and to some toroidal shiny crap too, it seems.

(Progz) #10

Guys, If you buy it on Steam, You can easily make a DVD copy of the download. If you right click on your game in the “Libary” section, then click “Backup Game Files…” that will allow you to burn the information onto a disc!

I don’t think many people know about this either and should! So if the game is like over 4GB’s I would prolly end up doing it.

So to be honest, I totally think the future is buying games on Steam! Hopes this helps someone out there including the open poster!

(Linsolv) #11

Except that it’s apparently cheaper on disc. Which is a legit reason to switch.

(LyndonL) #12

Or even better yet, save each game backup to an external usb hdd. That’s what I do.

anway, ur welcome -)
probably im deserve extra coffee/tea cup then ? (move into kitchen to make some tea w/lemon/sugar).

(Daystar) #16

However, it’s probably still tied to your Steam account. So you could copy the files onto another computer from the disk, but you’d still have to log in as your account that you bought it on.

Oh, and the game’s eight or nine gigabytes.

(LyndonL) #17

Oh… Because 9 gigs is so large these days?

And your point being that you can only have 1 pc logged in to Steam at a time to play the game? As opposed to when you need to have the one and only DVD in the drive to play the game?

(Nail) #18

game fits on 1 dual layer dvd, last time I checked that was 8.4 gig
