I can’t beat this cuz I only have Melee weapons,

Group all of your guys together as you move up. Once you get up there and the enemy is all grouped up. Make Ivan drop a stun grenade. Afterwards, CHARGE with all your guys and surround the enemy as you attack. They won’t be able to retaliate all that much with their energy cut. I beat it in 6 turns.

easy to beat just i went daring and lost a soldier had to do it 3 times sigh

Getting gold is sorta luck based (you need strategy too though)

sry man but it’s not luck, it’s calculation - or testing.
you have to put up all your characters behind that building on the left side. — or, when you start, you go straight forward a few scells and then to the left. you get behind a “wall”, it is about 4 squares to the center field. you put up all mines bit by bit und run behind that thing again, you let no character be an easy target, and do as much dmg as you can with the AOEs. If you hit your concussion grenade - I did not use it in that challenge at all - or feel like it, rush forward and attack.
I had to make about 10 attempts to finally get it but I wanted gold at all challenges, took me about 8 Turns in that single game.

if you put up the mines and let the foes come in a group it’s such a mass dmg… I think It even blew one of my mines away with the aoe dmg.

I used the concussion grenade and was able to beat it 3 times in a roll with perfection. It makes all the difference.
