I need to get new chargebar or something for my jetpack. I also need help with adding flamethrower flames to come out of those “pipes” or whatever they are.

How to add fuel and flares?
well i won’t use flamethrower flames, because they’re linked with damage.
it might be easier the use smoke from the special-ability grenades (like air support).
and so you don’t need the pay attation to the vector of flames.
lol : if you want fire , look at torches : just two crossed two-sided planes, flare can be square with autosprite shader or done with corona source…
well : Flames - do two crossed two-side planes and texture them with wills flame texture ( shouldnt be hard , just look in ET shaders to find it )
Smoke : you can simply use built in particle generators ( like barrel smoke for sten )
Flare : add there quad and texture it ,.use shader similar to this ( just change names )

OR: use trap_R_AddCoronaToScene , dont forget about visibility checking
Whole rendering should use some information
well , you need to add something to check it…
for example pushing button will add EF_JETPACK flag for 2 seconds
and then render this stuff while you have that flag…
I think the flamer flame would be better (cause a flame causes damage if touched)
So, when you take of with your jetpack, you have to be carefull not to hurt your team mates.
But then you might have the problem that it can be used as a weapon (which might not be a bad thing)
