How the current crafting system harms DB: Improving the loadout's quality of life

I’m going to start off with the mild change, which I have to admit, it’s hard to not agree too. It is a simple change that will make everything better.
Make it so that you have the option for a loadout card to not appear in:

  • Loadout lists when choosing a merc
  • Crafting recipes of any kind

The benefits of this are clear enough: Avoid clutter, and avoid accidentally crafting something you didn’t want to craft.
The cards would always show up on the loadout list in the barracks.

I’m also proposing a change to the crafting system regarding ‘Trade In’ s [loadout cards of the same level]. Since the crafting system is based entirely on chance, the fact that the number of cards is reduced every time the dice is rolled makes itis detrimental to the player’s choice when choosing loadouts in a game.

To conserve the variety each player has, I propose that the crafting cost, credits wise, is greatly increased, doubled, or even quadrupled; but the number of cards needed for a reroll should be reduced to exactly one card. Keep in mind → Every roll has a 11.1% chance of granting you the loadout you want (at least that’s as it should be, I have experienced some loadouts are harder to come by with crafting), that means, it is POSSIBLE to absolutely never, ever, get the loadout you’re after. And the system as is, the only thing you’re accomplishing is worsening your versatility in game.

Regarding the trade up, even when costly, since the changes are nothing but aesthetic, doesn’t deserve much attention from a competitive standpoint.

First suggestion is basically the favorite option. You only see favorites when choosing loadout to equip, and NO favorites when trading up / in.

Its a thing that definitely should be in asap.

Devs already said that reroll is out of question. As for “locking” loadouts you don’t want to trade that’s a good idea.

I really like the idea of locking a card I don’t want to accidentally trade in
