Can you have in your maps?
Im making this map where everything is dark till you flick a swtich and till now about 230 go on. I did a full compile yerterday and I get the MAX SHADERS (8192) problem where textures dont show up. Is there a way to have that number of switchable lights in a map (while displaying right) of is it just impossible? Please help!
How many lightstyles..
Make sure all the light entities have the same “targetname” value.
What game are you mapping for?

Sorry, JA. Im using the latest 1.4 GTK ydnar.
May I mention that I have about 240 light entities controlled by this switch. Makes up the bulk of the level’s lighting. They are all spread over the map around lamposts, each lampost has 4 lights and there about 60 lamposts in total…
So having all lights controlled by a single switch with all using the same targetname would solve it? Seems quite simple. I’ll try it and get back…
I redirected all lighst to be used by one switch by having all targetnamed the same and that did get the number down from 5000 to 3000, but to get rid of the problem I had to just cut down on numer of light trough diferent methods and that did it. Thanks for the help.
