To answer the initial question “How many games have you lost that have been solely down to a bottom board sniper?”:
About as many as I won that have been solely down to a bottom board sniper on the other team.
Neither of these games were “GG”, which is the real issue here.

in my case, i rarely steamrolled.
i get “casually defeated” because some players decided to play aimee and vasilli in every chapel objective
Just lost a game because an idiot Aimee decided “Nah I’m not gonna shoot the Proxy defusing the c4, I’ll shoot the guy near here instead”. “C4 Defused”. That plant was done at like 50ish seconds so we lost when it got defused at like 25 seconds since everyone had to respawn.
Edit: Oh and that Aimee DID have the scope on Proxy before deciding to shoot the guy next to that Proxy… that’s what made it worse. They ACTIVELY decided against shooting Proxy.
