How is 'Health Insurance' and 'Fire Support' xp earned exactly?

And how come we get can get so much health insurance xp, up to several hundred at a time but so little fire support xp?

Just curious… Though I find the ammo badges are much easier to earn than the healing ones, so the total is more or less the same.

Health Insurance is a portion of the XP gained by the revived/healed teammate for 10 seconds (methinks) after the medic action, depending on how long you charged the defibs or how much health you healed. Fire support is basically the same, XP from the person you gave ammo to depending on how much ammo they got/needed and their XP earned. Health Insurance usually earns more for me because healing/rezzing a person gets them back into the fight immediately, where as someone full on ammo may still only have 1HP.

Health insurance is pretty ridiculous tbh. I’m not sure of the exact numbers but basically what he said. I have noticed you can get ridiculous amounts of fire support though if you give someone ammo who is low and then they go on a rampage, so I can only assume it’s earned the same way.

I am not sure, and would like an official answer aswell, but based on my experience I noticed a few things:

-Health insurance lasts longer than 10 seconds. I assume you receive the bonus until the teammate you’ve healed/revived dies.
-Most likely 100% of the combat EXP they get also goes towards Health Insurance.
I’ve gotten 4-digit-Health Insurance bonuses pretty often when I played Aura. And I can’t see a way to get 1-3K points in 10 seconds as a Rhino/Vassili/a merc without a massive AoE ability.
I also believe objectives don’t count towards it. So a revived Fletcher blowing up a main objective does not give you a 1000 EXP bonus.
So I would assume:
-only Combat the mercs earned count towards it.

Well, I get health insurance when I revive and/or heal a d00d who then proceeds to repair an EV and dies immediately after (or while doing so) and I get my insurance. He dealt no dmg whatsoever. So there is that.

Okay. So Objective EXP counts towards it. Good to know.

You get any XP earned by the merc you just healed revived over the next 10 seconds. So if you revive a guy who immediately gets up, kills a few players and finishes off their Ace badge, Dominating badge and Godlike badge you’ll be getting a crap ton of XP from them.

If a medic is interested in getting a crap ton of points then they better keep an eye out on the top killers on their team and ensuring they stay alive.
