I like it when my hand/eye coordination (not bragging, I just mean opposed to consciously doing something) kills people by itself. Either twitch and shoot, e.g. rifle grens or PF (okay PF is more like shoot, then twitch), or just throwing a grenade really far away/below, possibly even leading someone… you know the kind, you throw it “in the general direction” while moving and hit spot on, I love when that happens.

i like noobs for 3 reasons,

1 it means that mroe people are starting to play the game and the game is getting more popular.

3 everyones new at somthing, so might as well make fun of them while we can, before they get better than us and kick our ass!

Also please feel free to describe your favorite kind of kill.

My nade killing skills have increased. The other day, I had killed an axis somethingorother, a medic chased me off. After the revive, he was handing out med packs, so I tossed the nade between the two of them and took them both out. It’s funny how people don’t follow through.

I would say that I’m ‘nearly’ intermediate.

Best kills?

Planted mines around a sniping enemy n00b… shot him once and well… he stood up and when he ran against me… ^^

Stabbing three guys in 5 seconds. One medic and two sniping coverts =D

A grenade that killed four guys.

Grenade that i threw over the wall back at the guns (Oasis) that killed two enemies.

<insert any 1vs1 where I has pistol and enemy has smg and I gets the kill>

A episode where I had 15 fired shots with luger, 7 of these was hits, and out of this I had four kills

Had 80 kills/3 deaths on Gold Rush some hours ago, that was fun.

until you’ve seen a REALLY good player, it’s hard to judge yourself.

If you ever played CCP Clan Cracked Pipe Server, there are two guys, [AGD] Ace, [AGD] Gary.

As in, Ace and Gary the Ambiguously Gay Duo.

Supposedly, these guys are from the RtCW clan, ]NARF[, and it really shows. Freaking, 40 headshots a game with 40% shooting accuracy is normal to these guys.

I’ve played against them actually - Gary is definitely better than I am, but Ace is amazing - probably better than I will ever be :slight_smile:

I stated advanced.

I think a good team needs three classes: medic, covop and engineer. I play all these classes (Engy and covop the most). But I still need the two other people playing the others. I sometimes play a covop, spotting all the mines blowing up all I can, opening the doors, but there is no good engy on my team so we lose.

But if there were two clones of me, then I´d think “jahuus” would own the map. I am not terribly good at firefights though…

I’m mainly posting to keep this thread on top.

Has anyone one written any decent strategy guides for this game? I checked out the ones on gamefaqs real quick but they seemed a little techincal and explained the game mechanics rather than give people tips on how to play.
I was thinking about writing some kind of strategy guide but I don’t want to bother if there’s already a million out there. By stratedy guide I mean every single little trick in playing this game that experts use. Since I know most of them. A noob could become an expert within a week…except for the headshot thingy.

I think I’m generally pretty good.

I can usually win one on one firefights. I have good tactics and teamwork as well.

However, after a good run when I’m feeling good about myself, I inevitably run into some that mops the floor with me and beats my confidence back into the dirt.

im getting into a techniqe that you wont find in any stratagy guide. its a professional stratagy that i perfected myself. i think its brilliant.

i like to call it JIHAD CHEESE!
what i do is diguise myself as cov ops and then sneak up on a bunch of enemies. then …4…3…2…1…INSTANT SUICIDE BOMB!!!

Funny thread this. I voted “Intermediate” as I don’t consider myself that good a player, and yet I’ll usually be at or near the top of the scoreboard at the end of a game (and anyone who knows me knows I’m as far from being an XP-whore that you could possibly get).

So what I’d like to know is where are all these Advanced and Expert players, cos I never see them. Either I under-rate myself, or a lot of people are letting their egos dictate their voting in this poll.

It’s all relative… If you only play on the average pub server it’s not too difficult to be godlike. I play a lot on the SD server (which is the best server I know) and think I’m an average/intermediate player. Occasionally there’s players on there that stands out above the rest, but I’ve never run into an “expert” that could own a handful or more decent players. (I’m sure they’re out there though).

The few times I’ve merced for a clan I really felt like a novice. :bored:
