How does speed for gotomarker translate into travel time?

How does the speed translate into time from path corner to path corner? For example:

gotomarker tank2_empty 9 wait

Takes ~32 seconds to go from start to finish. If I want it to take exactly 30 seconds, what is the mathamatical relationship between speed and time to travel.

Thanks

You should be careful with your tests. I had completely different speeds when testing on my local machine vs a real server. I assume the value of 50ms is playing a role here (read something about it in the LDR).

I’ve only found the following (it’s either from sock’s LDR or straight from the source code):

// NOTE: speed may be modified to round the duration to the next 50ms for smooth transitions
gotomarker <targetname> <speed> [accel/deccel] [turntotarget] [wait] [relative <position>]

turns out it quake units per second

Well you can mess with the speed of the tank with serversettings too (I think in ETPro).
