How do you watch demos?

I mean I googled it obviously, demoplay , but when I do this it just starts loading the map and never loads up. Spinning circle non-stop and I can’t back out.

You need to disable the map starting cutscene in your ShooterEngine.ini. I think the line is called bForceNoMovies.

Is there a demo recording function which all mortals can use? Can you explain how to use it? Thank you!

You can start recording your demo with demorec filename in the console. It records everything in your vicinity. If you want to make the recording stop, use demostop. To load a demo, use demoplay filename, but as stated above, you’ve to disable the cutscenes.

The whole system isn’t exactly working well, which is to be expected from an unfinished, unreleased feature, but at least you can assemble the blue man group.
