so thread sync is giving me some issues. i have tried to turn it off but every time i click apply and then restart thread sync is back on again? the second i close the settings options in dirty bomb the thread sync is switched back on. i heard that having it off can help people with really low frame rates (im in the 10-25ish range). does anyone know how to fix this?

Most likely it won’t change because you used a custom config at some point that was set to read only and the game can’t write to it to save the change. Turn read only off by right clicking the file, going to properties and unchecking the read only box.

Could also be due to duplicate options in the options menu (at least the in-game one). Most of the graphics options are duplicated, and only one of them work, keep scrolling and see if you find the option again and turn that one off.

That’s odd? I haven’t set any files of mine to read only / taken them off read only or anything but my thread sync turned off fine? I’ve used custom crosshairs at some point in time as well.
