How do you make water falls?

i have started a map called waterfall and what to know how to make a water fall

I guess hummer can help you. He’s using a waterfall in his Indiana Jones map. Try to contact him…

btw nice to start a map ‘waterfall’ but you don’t know how to create one :smiley:

when you finish like your dynamiteable script what symbols do you use to start a new bit of ur script? like ({}}{{)

u use a scriptname if im not wrong

} means end stage
{ is new stage

Best thing you can do is read the shader manual, know what shaders are, how they work, then begin to play with them and make your own… eventually you’ll have a waterfall :slight_smile:

You used Particle Studio for the waterfall mist, right Hummer? I downloaded that but haven’t got around to playing with it yet…

Yeah… particle studio was the way to go for the mist effect :slight_smile:

I made all the textures in photoshop. Then made my own shader for the waterfall itself.

Anyway, once I’m done with this map, I’ll probably package up the water fall shaders and texutres into a package for everyone to use… but at the moment, I’d like to keep them for myself until the map is out :slight_smile:
