when i type /devmap mapname

it pops up Can’t find map maps/Crypt.map.bsb

How do i make it work?

(swaggers) #6

just type in the name. In your case crypt. And you need a bsp file. So you need to have compiled it in Radiant using the BSP -meta option.

How Do I find the BSP meta option in the editer

(swaggers) #8

It’s the first one under the BSP tool option.

(weasel) #9

Compile it. In GtkRadiant, open the BSP menu and select an entry. The one I use to test is “Q3Map2: (test) BSP -meta -vis -light -fast -filter”. Then follow swaggers’s instructions.

Start ET.
Hit ~ to bring down console.
/sv_pure 0
/g_gametype 2
/devmap mapname

Do not include the file extension in mapname.

Edit: wow, that got a bunch of replies while i was typing…
