How do you know that the server you join is Vac protected?

I ask this question in the Tech Help section because it’s unclear to me if all servers are Vac protected or not. As their is no indicator advising me if the server I want to join is or is not Vac protected.

browse using the Steam server browser, there’s a shield Icon for servers that are VAC protected.

Thank you for the reply. But I don’t know how to do that unfortunately :o. Can you give me a quick guide on what to do?

Ok thanks, I figured out how to navigate to the server portion of steam using view option > servers. But that lists a lot of other games as well. All Brink servers appear to be vac protected at the moment.

In the bottom left of the Steam browser is a tab for Filter and Games
Set it for BRINK, ping, and secure servers and it will generate a list

yes you can since some people want to have modded servers which would conflict with vac. like super jump 1 shot kills etc etc

can’t imagine it being so much on brink tho since it’s so objective based but that is the reason
