how do you get a .map from a bsp

ive known for quite a while you can pull the map from the bsp, and i was wondering how because i just opened up my map for the first time in like 2 months, and ive decided i want to finish it, my constructables are a total mess, and objective scripting is too, and taking a look at battery and radar would help out my work a ton

You’ll need the newest version of q3map2. Check the appropriate forum. This thread should tell you everything you need.

I don’t know if you’re… supposed to… or allowed to decompile those maps…

You don’t need to decompile the maps to get at the scripting - and look in goldrush source for how to do destryable / buildable objectives.

no i know that, ive been doing that, but stuff like documents, i would like to get at the .map to see that for radar, and same for battery, to get at the back door with the generator. or if someone would like to be my bitch and do all the scripting and constructables for me, lol, i remember back in the day when my 2 constructables worked perfectly, then i added another one, and a constructable mg, and bam it was all screwy
