How do I reduce load on my CPU?

I have FX6300 and DB freezes for precisely 7 seconds occasionally. I’ve checked my CPU temperature and it often reaches 60 °C. People say that it’s dangerous for my CPU and those freezes are most likely caused by CPU overheating.
Graphs also show that freeze happens approximately at CPU load peaks.

GPU is R9 270; FPS is locked @ 70 and rarely goes below 55. It’s just the freezes. They bother me alot.
I get teleported to the direction I was going but most of the time killed because enemies see me as “afk”

The question is what settings should I change to make my CPU not SO busy?

UE3 was built to offload a bunch of work to the CPU as, at the time of them building the engine, more people had powerful CPU’s than GPU’s. So it works it pretty good. You can always get a custom config and hope that lowers your CPU usage (Reddit has threads dedicated to it or just Google…I can also send you mine).

Or you can look into solutions to reduce heat so that you won’t have the issue…which is definitely recommended as DB is not the only CPU intensive game out there and your processor dying or surviving over time might depend on it. Fixing heat issues can be annoying but usually it’s pretty cheap.
