how do I make friends

I’m level 10 and I don’t know how to add people I played with in-game.

Remember there Name, and type that into Steam / Friends / Add Friend. If the other Person is knowing you gonna add them, ask for their Profile Pic to easier Identify them.
If You have not the Picture and they are named somthing like “milk” “water” “liquid” etc, there are if you search more then sometimes 6k players with this in their name, so make sure you know how they are correctly spelled and what Pic they have.

You can also ask for their SteamID what would be the best way

that’s very inconvenient but I guess the only way apparently.

Yeah it is, and i and i think many more hope that this will be changed soon. Normally i have to talk to someone like 2 Minutes to get the infos to add them, just ingame mostly because the messages get not carried over screens.
