Brink worked for me when I first purchased the game. It was a little laggy and I was ale to fix it with the hotfix from the Brink system requirements thread.
The game worked perfectly for about a week when it suddenly started crashing in game. Other games, such as World of Warcraft and Left 4 Dead 2 also crashed.
I took my computer to Best Buy to have the graphics card re-set.
Know when I attempt to start Brink I receive the Open GL error that several others are getting.
I attempted to install the hotfix, but my computer messed up, obviously becuase of downloading on top of existing drivers which caused the mess ups in the first place.
So my question is, will installing the AMD 11.5a hotfix that is currently under the system requirements thread fix the problem? If so, how would I go about installing it? How do I remove old drivers and update them?
I meet all system requirements and my graphics card is a AMD HD 5870 mobility radeon.
