How do I control SMGs

I’ve sort of been playing for a long time, and it may seem weird, but I still need some help. How do I control SMGs?

As Sawbonez, he has his best Loadout with a Crotzni, so I bought it from the store and have been using it since. However, the Crotzni has a lot of spread, and I can’t figure out a reliable way to control my cone of fire.

-ADSing doesn’t work, it just clutters up my screen, and other people don’t use it (except for across map sniping)
-Burst doesn’t work, as it drastically lowers my DPS
-Other people shred me when they use any SMGs, so I always feel as if there is a secret to SMGs that I’m missing

I don’t get it. How do I control my gun? Recoil is easy, just pull down a teensy bit, but spread is random, and it’s huge with the Crotzni.

Try the SM72 card instead. You get a more accurate primary and extra supplies which can help more than potent packs.

This is solid advice. The SMG9 is pretty good, it’s more accurate and it does have better medic augments.

What you should do is find some videos of people using the Crotzni that are good with it and replicate what they are doing.

I usually go fullauto close range. With the headshot sound indicator it works fine. Make sure you enable headshot sounds in the audio options :wink:

Assuming I wanted to keep using the Crotzni because the augments are literally the best, how would I go about doing it?

And I appreciate the help @FalC_16 , but I have about 150 hrs, I have the basics down. @Amerika who is there to watch? The DB youtube community is fairly small isn’t it? I only know of kAndyrew and Sniff, and you with your tidbits.
