How do I bind color text properly?

Chatting in game normally with colors works: ^1This is Red.

But if I was to bind it (Bind 7 “say ^1This is Red.”), pressing 7 would result with: ^ 1 This is Red.

How would I make it so that spaces dont appear?

try:
bind 7 “say ‘^1This is Red.’”
Note the single quotes surrounding the text.

You have to use '<Text> ’ or else it’ll take say “<loltext>” as one message.
Also you can use the letter keys to get more colours.
