How Did Your Crafting Week Go?

I know a lot of folks depleted their credits and fragments the weeks prior to this crafting event due to the reduced prices on mercs, but thankfully I still had plenty of resources saved up and decided to drop some cash. My goal was to replace a lot of my less desirable golds I’ve had for 6+ months and get a new cobalt or 2. No luck on cobalts - which is fine 'cause I think most are ugly - but the swiss and crown army has grown stronger! These are my only noteworthy upgrades and replacements:

Nader:

  • CR81 in swiss replaced my previous crown.
  • SM41 in swiss replaced shard.
  • New CR42 in swiss. Meh card, though.
  • SM83 in crown instead of bamboo. Swiss continues to elude me…

Stoker:

  • M55 swiss.
  • M61 swiss replaced crown.
  • S51 is new. Rarely use the AUG and S95 is better, but still a solid pull I’m happy with.

Fletcher:

  • BL21 in swiss. My favorite pull right here.
  • A31 swiss replaced urban.
  • H22 crown. Wish it were H33, though.

Phoenix:

  • C41 swiss. Was my final, longshot craft and I got exactly what I wanted. No more bronze for me.

Fragger:

  • M91 crown. Favorite loadout, but prefer swiss on him. I’ll take it.

Javelin:

  • SH56 crown. My favorite skin on her and my preferred scar loadout, but I probably won’t use it much.

Yeah, could definitely be a lot worse. At least you got the kek, steady, and drilled. I crafted 2 cobalts and they failed me hard. Went for a cobalt turtle to finish the achievement while hoping for C43, SM51, C91, or even SM62. Probably got his absolute worst C52 in fragment. Tried my luck with a Phoenix C41 because I think he’s one of the few that look good in cobalt but got his bad Hochfir loadout. But it’s all good, still happy overall.

Well, this was my first crafting week so I wanted to go for my first gold, in this case upgrading my Phoenix card

I finally had exactly the same loadout but generation II instead of I, so after all, not bad, I remember I bought that bronze card because I consider it the best of them so many years ago :slight_smile:

Was planning on buying crafting kits if I could make the 15k fragments, but spent all my credits, opened all my cases and didn’t get close. Some prior notice to the event would of been nice.

After more than 1000 hours of gameplay, I do not care anymore about skins. It has been too much disappointment. I never got pleased, I have no cobalt considered as the best card for any merc. Same for special editions.
I prefered avoiding the frustration and crafted nothing.

Don’t be silly, how else are they going to catch you off guard when you have no Credits, so you have to spend real money.

Recycled all my cards other than colbolts…Now have 35k fragments to use on the new mercs as they are released!!!

recycled my cobalt sawbonez and realized I don’t have enough credits :smiley:
Didn’t like the card anyway, I ran around with my silver C81 sawbones anyway.

I tried my luck with a gold sawbones and got a shitty smg-9 card.

So it was rather point less and I am back to gathering credits and fragments.

cashed in a bunch of fragments to get 2 colbalts. a turtle and a jav. picked up 10 wrenched for next one.

Nothing! I haven’t crafted anything since the last crafting week and am instead focusing on filling up this hole all these events caused in my credits bank. :slight_smile:

Got an SH56 Javelin and a C91 Turtle. They seem pretty decent but I don’t play them much. At least now I’ve done all the Cobalt related achievements. Still have 160K credits left for whatever event is about to come.

I crafted three sparks cobalts before I finally got one I liked, and it was still kinda meh.

Sawbones, right? Yeah, I’d say that’s an upgrade. His only good blish loadout is BL71 in my opinion. The only thing you’re losing is get up, but Saw is more of a frontline med and you’ll be better off having drilled and the crotz. His first edition CR42 is considered the best by many, though, because it has potent packs instead of the second edition one with, uh, double time, quick draw, or spares. Can’t remember off the top of my head. Either way, still a good loadout.

Edit: Yep, first edition replaced spares with potent packs.
