How come I get points for dropping a medpack as Phoenix?

Sometimes when I’m finished I get 10 points for dropping a medpack. Is this an augment some mercs have? If so what’s it called?

I’m pretty sure that’s when someone with the Looter augment gibs you.

That’s neat. And I’m guessing that if a teammate picks up the medpack you also get points for healing?

Tested and it didn’t unfortunately.
