how can u make breakable windoze?

hi, I’ve made some windoze for a building, but i’ve no idea how to smash them to bits, do u just need to apply some sort of shader surfaceparam, and are there any predefined shaders that could do this? thnx in advance

What u need to do is to make the window brush a func_explosive.
Then add a key of type and a value of glass
Also u may want to make the glass less tough than default so i suggest u add a key of health with a value of 20

which reminds me, I once did that to some wooden planks in the top of my tiny church tower, but now when you break just one, they all break. Any idea how I can fix that?

You have probably grouped them together as one func_explosive. Try making each board a separate func_explosive.

cheerz for that, i wondered how to apply it to wood as well. what other types can u give a func_explodable?

a func_explosive can be nearly everything, glass, wood, rock, brick, gibs… Just have a look at the entity description in the entity viewer.
