How can this game be played online w/ other people?

Hello

I just finished playing through the campaigns and now I’d like to take my BRINK experience to the next level by taking on human opponents instead of AI. How can I play this game online with other people, I tried playing in the “Freeplay”-mode, but even then the best I could find was a game with me and only 4-5 other human opponents, and the rest were AI/ CPU controlled. Is there some option I should choose inorder to find the 8 vs. 8 games with all humans? Or does this game just have that few players on the 360 that games are bleeding impossible to find? I have NAT-type open and my router has PnP enabled. Please help I really want to play against other people! Playing against the bots SUCKS!

I’ve tried that, but all I get is games with 4-5 human players and the rest are always bots :frowning:

Check the thread next time mate.

He was asking for the 360.

The PC version has the search option.

The Xbox doesnt.

I’ve played this game online for quite some time now, and I am pretty sure it’s goddamm impossible to find a game with 15 other human players. This wouldn’t be an issue, but the AI is so unstable that it’s not fun to play with.

*Please Splash Dev. Team either make matchmaking on the 360 easier or patch it to have a search option like the PC, or do something! I really want to play with other people! By far the best I’ve gotten is a game where there were 6 humans and the rest were AI.

Please fix this! It’s getting annoying!

I’ve played 8v8 all human games. (rarely admittedly, I would certainly like to play more).

Levanoir what do you mean by the AI is “so unstable”?

The upper level/rank AI will often score higher than many of the human players in a given match. The lower level/rank AI is pretty weak.

I have also found that if you play one match with 6 -8 humans then the next match a few more will join and then a few more after that and a few matches in I will be in matches that at least are coming close to 8v8.

Yeah, it’s nearly impossible to find a game with 15 other human players. And if you do it will lag like crazy. They still haven’t fixed it. Pathetic!

Could it be due to default its set to co-op at least it is for PC which it can be changed but it seems consoles are stuck with defaults?

“si_playMode” is:“2” default:“1”
play mode (0 = SOLO, 1 = CO-OP, 2 = VERSUS

It looks like Homefront - 32 Players no way! Brink 16 Players no way! :wink: It’s horrible but the truth!!!
