How can I register a new account with my email?

I registered an account a few years ago with my email. I still got my password and can login with it. Now I want to register a new account and can not do that because the email is already in use.

I do not remember what I have entered as birthdate, secret question and other information. I want to delete it or have it removed of my email so I can register a new one. I changed the email to another one in the account info but I still can not register a new one with my email.

So how can I register a new account with my email? I want to do that because I didn’t used correct information and want a different name now.

Try using a new email then switch the steam overlay on. It works.
