How are you going to deal with the influx of hackers?

The amount of hacking in MM, and in public servers is ridiculous over this weekend. I ran into 5 hackers in one day, and one in my first game this morning. What do they have in common? Smurf accounts with past VAC bans and they have a trigger for 100% accuracy for body shots. One or two had full on, headshot out of anywhere aimbots on.

Can’t link to steam profiles?

There is a strict no name and shame policy here on the forums. I have deleted some content from your original post. :confused:

EDIT: I would have commented sooner but my match started. Sorry.

Well, I have been shot through several objects since some days ago. And it was hard to tell whether it was heavy lag or a cheat, because the enemies shot me though the corner 1-2 meters, etc.
But my Ping always stays under 50, and the opponent’s was not higher than 70/80. Could be the server having hick-ups, or…

That’s called lag compensation bro, that’s in every shooter.

yup;

cheats that alter behavior on the server (‘physics of the game’) rather than simple aim&wallhack - thats a whole new fruitcake.

Thats why I didn’t buy it when one guy mentioned a cheater who could ‘fly’, or another one with ‘insta HP regen’

I know, but from my POV sometimes this lagcomp is strechted to the maximum, yo. :wink:
Maybe I explained it a bit weird. I meant:
The enemy has no high ping, u have no high ping. Either the server has problems(which he got not, because then everyone else in the match would notice these problems), or something’s fishy…
For example the enemy shoots and kills me through the width of one of these white cars/vans.
Lagcomp compensates about what, which time delay? and this delay seems to be rather big (to me. I jump behind cover, and still the opponent manages to finish me off, even when I was in cover. Sure, laggers have advantages when they kill someone, bc. they see him on their screen, even when he’s in cover on his screen, but the delay, man. )

It’s going to happen regardless of how low everyone’s ping is. Packets can’t travel instantly from player clients to the server and back.

It just gets amplifide in DB, because player movement is so fast.
