If it works, I can let you have the textures (or make your own)

Wheels are a bit poly hungry aint they? lol, got a bit carried away there

[edit: btw in total it has:

809 Points
1618 Edges
818 Faces
Using 147kb Memory]

Looks good m8. Nice presentation. That render was done .ase? .md3 ?

Afa the .md3 goes, I like how you modelled the polys so the windows were in the same group as the aircraft skin. There is a black triangle below the left (from pilots perspective) front window but it is easy to spot and fix.

To get to .md3 format, I had to save as .obj (which loses all the textures) and then use milkshape (which I have never used before) to export as .md3.
I did try having a fiddle with the texturing on there but it totally lost me, so if there is a strange grouping or whatever, it’s because of my little attempt at texturing in an app I don’t know

Oh, the render was done in anim8or, the app I used to model it

I’ve got to try that prog out then.

Afa the black traingle goes, the model cleaner tool in ms3d wiped it out. A lot easier than reversing the vertex order on the face and it brought the verts down a bit too.

For those of you who want to try it:

Anim8or is free and very easy to use.

Anim8or

Once you have installed it, do the eggplant tutorial. No need to read the manual or anything, the tutorial shows you as you go along.

Enjoy!

Nice modelling!

You’re getting pretty good with anim8or and you only started 1 week ago.

Keep it up :drink:

Lol, I started modelling in anim8or a few years ago mate, I just redownloaded it recently and have been enjoying modelling again.
