I did open my radiant then i did opened my map and all was gone !!! like what the hell , there down box is only textures but my map is gone :eek::confused::rolleyes::frowning:

well i had a some more map files of this map but iā€™ve got it now , sry my bad :slight_smile:

open youā€™r map file with a text editor (notepad or another one) and chek if you got ā€œclassnameā€ ā€œworldspawnā€ just after :
// entity 0
{
like in the image below
if not add it and save as .map

you could try to give the map logical names

mymap_v1
mymap_v2
mymap_v2.1
mymap_v3

Then you just look for the highest number

Radiant also does an autosave while you are working on your map, In your etmain/maps directory there should be an autosave.mapā€¦

wellā€¦i had the same problem yesterday. i wanted to open my map, but it somehow did not open. out of nothing it. i had not changed anything since i last compiled and played. i then took the autosavemapā€¦ grummelgrummel

You probably hit Alt F1, or Hide World. Dunno why it exists, but there it is and pressing it again will bring your map back.
