Brink really needs that. It is totally more hip, and you feel more like a gangsta if you do that. Especially for the resistance team.

how “feel like gangsta” could be interesting for anyone non-gangsta ? like their victims or police officers.
and no, this must be customizable on per-player basis, IMO.
on Avatar/Character creation, stage.

i shot from gun only once, and for 5 minutes i was totally deaf. i dont like guns.
my opinion, brink should be without guns!

i’ve seen the exact same proposal(couldn’t think of a better word) on the bethsoft forums, where it seemed like most either didn’t care or didn’t want it.

I heard holding it sideways isn’t good for long range, and the recoil goes sideways instead of up.

You just say no because you don’t like gangstas, and you are too technical about it. It isn’t about the technicality of it. It is about the gangstaness about it.

If you look at the resistance, they look like gangstas, at least they should be shooting like gangstas. And if in the game you held pistols sideways, you feel like a gangsta too, and a lot more people would play it.

Man, if people see that you can hold your pistol sideways, they’d be like wow, this is too cool.

what’s so cool about them? whenever i see one, i think “what a looser”. i picture the gangsta stereotype as someone who is only a looser with a gun. and when he looses the gun, he’s a chicken. nobody cares about them unless they force you to at gunpoint. maybe instead of holding the guns sideways, sd should implement a feature that we can shoot the gun off of a “gangsta’s” hand and when we do, he turns into chicken, and then we can go on chicken hunt. that would be the best easter egg ever! :smiley:

“gangstah”, i still don’t know where the word comes from, it can hardly refer to those mafia gangsters who wear suits can it?

and there’s something i don’t like about people who show their underwear to the whole world and think they look so tough… honestly, i’ve seen a guy like that start a fight just to trip over his pants when he tried to hit the other guy:rolleyes:

if i have to go for a look, i’d really prefer going for the brutal efficiency of the gangster type, over the “i’m so cool” look of the gangstah
