2 worlds, 2 pleasures… I’m not even understanding why would anyone try to compare these 2 mods…
Peace
comparing the 2 because the OCB cup thread needed the exhaust vent thread :stroggbanana:

There was a problem in v0.3.3 where I screwed up in expanding custom binds to make them better. Ended up making the expansion overwrite the existing bind contexts, which made QWTA barf on custom binds. That’s been fixed since QWTA v0.3.4 (v0.3.5 being latest)
All binds that work in BaseETQW should work just fine in QWTA v0.3.5. Plus you can bind to the “gdf” or “strogg” contexts in addition to binding to class. It mainly saves typing when you’re wanting to bind something to all the Strogg classes at once, or all the GDF classes at once. (eg: Stroyup/Stroydown.)
Class binds override team binds, so you can make exceptions from a team bind on a per-class basis if you want.
And yes, QWTA runs on Windows, Linux, and MacOS. (Orange does QWTA’s MacOS compiles, with many thanks. :D)
What’s the deal with etqwpro mac? I thought that you only needed a mac capable of playing etqw and free software from apple, and you had what you needed to compile etqwpro?
You need a specific version of Xcode (AFAIK the one the game was compiled with) or you get confusing breakage when running a mod. This also happens on other platforms, with varying results.
