Hitsounds for Nader's Launcher

It needs to play a hitsound when u hit a direct pipe on someone

To be honest it should be playing a hitsound whenever u deal aoe damage instead of having to look for the Splash Damage xp message

You still get a splash damage icon, and a red cross in the middle of the screen. While it wouldn’t hurt to have a hitsound, there is already plenty of indication.

There’s no reason for it not to have a hitsound. (Unless they’re recording a unique hitsound for it which isn’t likely)

I’m pretty sure Spark’s revive gun doesnt get hitsounds either.

Quake pipes and TF2 pipes also play hitsounds.

That satisfying dong when you land a direct pipe… now I really wanna play TF2 again. Not hating on DB, but TF2 is so much more polished gameplay wise.

TF2 came out in 2007 and this game is still in open beta.

The thing is, some of us play without the hit markers. Because those hit markers obstruct the view. For the same reason our crosshair is dot and not a cross.

Hit sounds are the most viable tool for hit indication with these settings, you dont want to move your eyes and focus down to text area so a sniper moves in and blows your head compartment to the wall.

Agreed, need hitsounds. It adds another dimension of spotting an enemy and raises the bar in regards to what’s possible skillwise (something dev’s promoted this game to be - “impossible to master”, but right now it’s very noob-friendly). Adapting around random weapon factors and non-existant features isn’t something that you need mastering.
