Hitreg

128 tick servers, Volvo pls

Yeah, how many ticks are these servers even running at? I need to know what number to say when I’m making excuses after missing too many shots

I feel like it improved in the last stress test, but I thought it was not so critical in the past. UE3 is indeed awful on hitreg. I played a lot on chivalry : medial warfare were it was just a pity. On all the fps engine the devs could have selected, they probably took the worst for a melee game… On tribes ascend it is also noticeable. In both games, 100+ tickrate servers were just like playing another game.

Edit : I’m curious about this by the way, both netcode and graphic engine seem to be improved compared to other games built on UE3. I’d be interested to know how much they worked on these sides in dirty bomb.

lots and lots, hopefully they left enough time and energy to fix tiny maps

I have ping issues on EU servers when connecting to servers, Idk why I have over 250ping on servers when it says I have 50ping in the serverlist menu. This for me causes some weird hitregs. it was a setting, nvm

I’ve noticed the hitreg is god awful when I play with over 80 ping but as long as I don’t have packet loss it’s pretty good at low ping.

I have a lot of hitreg issues, but it’s mainly due to my family downloading all the freaking day. I oftenly end with 200 ping. So I can’t give my opinion on that issue.
