Hitbox on revivr gun

With it, you realy ned to hit in the body, and it is annoying if u keep “missing”,anyone know if they are going to fix this ?

Hitting alive targets is fine for me. I main Sparks and I rarely have a problem with hitting enemies, but the real problem is the actual reviving hit-box. I’d be a millionaire by now if I had £1 every time I “hit” someone with the REVIVR to revive them, and then in reality it “misses”.

This however was one the questions I submitted to Splash Damage this morning and they will be answered properly in due course. Hopefully we will hear something about it. :slight_smile: I’ll update you when I know more!

I’ve hit people three times at point blank…then die. Usually after 2 fails and Aura comes over and actually revives:P

I am curious what’s the difference of hit-box between shooting enemies and ally’s body.

no problem at all when shooting enemy, but so ridiculous when aiming groggy team.

or may be, I think it isn’t actually Sparks’ problem, but those graphic error that occurs when you die, and lie down on weird map objectives.

Faraleth, are you part of splash damage or something ? I heard one of your posts in the announcements

Here’s an idea: how about adding a reticle to your crosshair or something like that when the Revivr is guaranteed to hit? Then it will be easier to find the hitbox.

Honestly i would love this. Turn my dot crosshair into a circle with a cross in the mid.

Will be nice, but it has to be fixed, we cant be doing this things

I worry if this bug actually keeps Sparks in check. imagine if it would actually work as intended.

I’m still not quite sure what to aim for when a body is spazzing up and down. Is it the body or where the body keeps popping back to?

There seems to be two major problems. The first one is that depending where the person goes down their body could bounce up and down making it nearly impossible to hit them with the REVIVR (hell, hitting them with the defib at that point is difficult) but the other problem is that bodies don’t necessarily fall in the spot where their hitbox falls. Watched someone shoot to the right of my body five times till they walked right up to me and point blanked me to get the revive.
