Just a thought, if would be nice you score a head shot the Tesco placeholder beep, changes pitch. Or possibly a different sound altogether, maybe even in the end product you could buy different soundbites. The classic UT3 HEADSHOT sprigs to mind.
Hit sounds.(beep).
I know.
Regular body shot - beep
Headshot - cash register :)
This!!!
I agree. Not 5$ though but I would definitely pay for some sound packs.
If they are like a dollar or less I would, and the announcer depending on the quality I would pay $5
Yeah agreed, perhaps they could bundle crosshairs, hit indicators and such with this into some sort of comp customisation pack.
Well, general reaction was against such - http://forums.warchest.com/showthread.php/34395-Crosshair/page2
Still have my fingers crossed for custom hitsounds and separate volume sliders.
No to this. Definitely no transactions regarding crosshairs or hit indicators (well sound may be acceptable). Dang man, there are just some things in a video game you shouldn’t try to monetize.
Interesting to see where the lines of what people expect to be free are. If alot of games allowed you to change hitsounds already would that also be something you shouldn’t monetize?
Ah right seems its already been covered on that thread, I see why people are against it.

I said hit sounds may be acceptable… so why pick that out of the post… #zerosense
question is, will SD try block custom hitsounds (already in UE), nah, I kinda think it’s an easy add for SD and one that would please their existing playerbase
i would like to adjust the volume of hitsounds. or choose to get HS sound only.
