Reggie
Class: Engineer

Health: 160
Sprint: 370
Nationality: America
Gender: Male

“Step aside, professional incoming… Well, ex-professional incoming, most likely…”

Ability 1: Gas Grenade
You know those contaminated areas around the map that doesn’t allow you to enter due to those dangerous chemicals? Well, Reggie here is going to bring them to your house. Equip with a single gas grenade (cool down is 40 seconds), this will release some of that dangerous gas after a delay of three seconds, making a cloud that can be used to cut off enemy routes or objectives. If thrown in a room, this gas will flood the entire room, creating a miniature contaminated area for the duration of 10 seconds. A downside to this ability is that even if you were the one to throw it, you and your allies will take damage from it as well once entered.
Ability 2: Hazmat
Since Reggie used to work in the field of radioactivity, he can’t go anywhere without his hazmat suit! Slow but sturdy, Reggie will be able to walk through contaminated areas, slowly taking damage, but not enough to kill him in an instant like any other merc (takes 5 damage per second). This will allow the player to sneak through contaminated areas without the enemy even knowing.

Default Loadout
Primary: Blishlok*
Secondary: Simeon .357
Melee: Stilnotto Stiletto

*Reggie prefers to use light weapons, such as SMGs, because of his hazmat suit

How to counter: Rush
By rushing Reggie, you will be able to psych him out due to his low speed. Also, even if he does throw a gas grenade into a room, you will be able to run through the room without taking any damage due to the gas grenade’s three second delay. This will leave him vulnerable to attacks. Also, note that Reggie and his allies cannot even enter his own gas grenade’s premises, or they will surely die.

Now, destroy your enemy’s path with Reggie’s gas grenades, sneak through routes no one will ever realize, and play dirty!

really great idea, though 10 seconds feels a bit long when dealing with a bomb site, maybe more like 8, and the bomb detonates much quicker but the cloud spreads slower.

Haven’t really thought about it too indepth, but hey, I guess there is room for more editing

If it’s area denial you’re looking for, the upcoming merc Stoker has you covered. His fire bombs/Molotovs seem to serve the same purpose as your proposed gas grenade, just with less gas more fire.

Here’s a video I found on Stoker if you’d like to know more:

Contaminated areas are off limits for a reason so he shouldn’t be able to go through them at all.

Hazmat ability is pretty useless. Your team/enemy team would of air vent it anyway.
