I dont like highlander. It just didnt feel right.
you lose many tactics if playing all classes. You can add much more depth in your tactics with a free class selection.

ImageOmega and I provided a bit of feedback around this in Pugs and Scrims threads. There were positives and negatives. To highlight it:

Positive = The Heartbeat Sensor was useful
Negative = Single Engineer is tough on EV based offense

Agree with pulley here, the tactics are more forced. You don’t have this tactical freedom as when you choose the classes on your own.
