Hidden Squads (Sort of)

The mercs in your squad are now hidden on the in game scoreboard until you are visible to someone on the other team. However, there is a period of time in the lobby where the time to change out mercs has expired and the squads of every player on both teams are visible. Is this a feature or should squads be hidden in the lobby as well??

It is more so you don’t know which merc they are actively using until you see it.

This way if they switch mercs between rounds you don’t know. Essentially prevents a direct counter pick(if there is such a thing).

I like that mechanic.

My issue is that a majority of players would never care enough to keep track of which mercs are chosen before entering the round but it is possible to do. I would compare it to a game not having a hip fire crosshair option in game. Many players don’t bother to use mumble or put a dot on their monitor but some do and have an advantage. It would make more sense for the developer to just add a crosshair to the game.

IMO it would be better to just make the lobby selections hidden as well or have a clear display of the merc composition of each team before the match starts.

I noticed in the end round scoreboard the enemy teams lineup is always hidden. That seems like a bug.
