Before we get any more new mercs (Turtle and Javelin are inevitable, but whatever), let other existing mercs be balanced and useful.
So far, SD was balancing step by step, here and there, but what’s really needed is MAJOR META BREAKING BALANCE. Hopefully stats from ranked will determine their balance decisions.
This is all I’m waiting for. A good major merc balance. Before you add anything new make sure you build a strong foundation.
overall balance is fine, at least for pubstar level. with the exception of thunder of course.
DB above all other content needs more maps. Ideally, 6 more maps, or more
Thunder is op, yeah, but also what about kira? I was playing some ranked game and literally every time we tried to make a push, kira had her laser back and forced us out of cover, easy targets. I feel like it needs a way longer cd.
lazor is very strong, but also limited; considering the need for open space. It also has less EV-killing potential.
Compare it to Arty’s artillery, which can also throw people out of cover, can be fired sequentially, and tends to destroy Aura station through walls. Plus Arty has 30 more HP (33% more hp!)
Finally, teamkilling potential is a serious factor when it comes to lazor

Yes I suppose that is true. Map is very important, I should have specified. I have trouble with her on the map where you have to deliver 2 emp charges. It is wide open and normally you drop the emp to shoot at some people from behind the cars and stuff but instead you have to run from get laser every time.
Kira is a glass cannon - strong but vulnerable.
Chapel is her playground due to the open sky.
Additionally to the mentioned above the laser does take a fair amount of time to call in.
The designator often resets when you move it over different heights or if you receive a certain amount of damage. It is also worth nothing that the laser is somewhat slow.
You need to surprise people with it, otherwise they will simply outrun it.
Something you probably don’t know yet. The laser will continue to its destination while the Kira is downed. That means you need to gib her to stop the laser.
