Hey everyone. I need some help on a strange problem

Recently I have had my computer reformated and now im having some problems.

First off, i cant switch the .def file in the ET folder that allows u to switch to the new entities. there is only a et entities and its a txt folder. I have tried to rewrite what is in it and no luck.

Second is that everytime i try to make a .script fie it wants to stay in a .txt format. Which is messing the script up some. For instance, i have it set to a 15 min. time limit yet when I go in game it shows that it is a 200 min. time limit. More things are going wrong to script wise

Can anyone help me fix this problem?

i have the same script problem no mater what i do my .txt’s wont become .script

so i copy another script change the name and then delet all the text iside it and write my own script there

Explorer: “Tools” menue > Folder options > “View” tab > uncheck “Hide extensions of known file types”

thanks, it changes to a script form now.

The .def file still doesnt want to change for me though

i know the .def is suppose to be in the script folder of etmain, but its not, how do i change the entities when i cant find the .def file?

u can find the new entities in the map : rtcw_ent_in_et_beta2.pk3 i dont know where i got it from but it is inside of that ! , and u can test the pk3 its full with all entities there are i think. really helpfull
