Why does my compiled map looks like this, it’s not caulked ??

I compiled it with single BSP META
because when I test my map,
I don’t wanna waste time on waiting for the lighted version to compile

I have no idea why that happens.
When it happens to me, I toss away that brush. Recompile. See it it looks OK. Then I start editor, again, and I put in a brush. (I re-create the old one.) recompile and see if it looks OK.

I tried that and it still does it
and it happened to other brushes too it’s like totally random.

Make sure there are not two brushes overlapping eachother exactly. That can happen when you accidently copy/paste a brush. If two brushes are on the exact same spot, you can get this effect.

If it’s happened before with the same brush, that might be something different though… I don’t know actually.

Maybe try snapping the brushes to the grid? Ctrl+G?

Brush cleanup?
