I’m new to this level making thing. Can anyone suggest me any tutorials? Preferably ones that cover more than one thing. I plan to make a level where axis take a spawn with a tank and then they take it to destroy something and then they have to get two gold bars into an ‘evacuation zone’ to enable a truck to take it away (the truck bit not portrayed).
Help
I recommend you try something easier first.

I find a tiger at http://www.new-etmaps.de/modules.php?name=Prefabs but how do I get it in the editor?
unzip it
put the folder in etmain/models/mapobjects/
in radiant rightclick in window
choose misc --> misc_gamemodel–>mapobjects–> your tiger folder
Can you give me some pictures for each step, because i’m a little confused after “in radiant right click in window”
I see that level making is hard, but if you could tell me anyway, so if I ever did want to use a tank then I could look it up here so I wouldn’t need to ask it again.
Hold on, magic I found out how to do that but, it isn’t gonna let me load up a folder, it will show me some .extensions I can open, but no folders :disgust:
#edit#
I get this message when I try to load up any MD3 file :
WARNING : could not extract the relative path, using full path instead
this means that the model path is “c:/programfiles/blah blah/models/…”
For models/game files to work, you need to shorten the path to be at the base directory of the game"ETMAIN"…which leads you to starting the path to the model at “models/mapobjects/etc…”
This will give you a permanent fix : http://www.splashdamage.com/index.php?name=pnPHPbb2&file=viewtopic&t=4301
if your new to et map makin you should try and learn the easy stuff like how to make simple things, like a simple box room, a constructible/destructible entity wit a script, an mg42 and a objective etc, if u need an help im willing to lend a helping hand
I can make a box room, but I don’t understand how to decorate each wall differently, and how to colour the floor in.
