try here for gtkradiant 1.4
ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/qeradiant/GtkRadiant/GtkRadiant-1_4/
q3map2 is included with GTKRadiant.
It’s not the latest version if you use 1.4.
But you can also download 1.5.
There the latest version of q3map2 is included.
AFAIK theres a download of latest q3map2 standalone at:
http://www.katsbits.com/
ive been using q3map fs, which is a slightly different build by twentyseven
that allows blending on meshes by vertex color, it works with et ( so far )
but i can’t find the original site that had it… i think its down.
http://www.bakdesign.net/tm/tutorial/3dsmax_tutorial.html
thats a link to a tutorial on it, but the link to get the modified q3map2 is
no more.
i followed a Tuturial, but
when i came to the info_player_start
I didn’t find it
it say’s :
Now, Right Mouse click in any window
and go to INfo
then click info_players_start
or something like that
i only have info_player_deathmatch and another one i can’t remember
We’ve had a few file requests like this recently - any chance of a simple sticky to the latest versions of essential files? (q3map2, radiant 1.4, 1.5 etc.?)
i have the files, but i can’t go any further
-.-
i don’t have info_player_start
Is it just me???
or dous no one have info_player_start ( it is GTK Radiant 1.4 maybe the name changed??? )
EDIT :
Here is a picture of what i have at info :
Here is where to download q3map2 and How to install it for GTK Radiant 1.4.0. http://3dnow.informe.com/mapping-and-more-for-enemy-territory-df1.html
yep its the same, info_player_start was used in RTCW, you could find that rtcw_ents in ET .def… but info_player_deathmatch does the same thing
