Try and extract it with winzip then, it should work technically at least.
Extracted it is around 6.2 meg
Hmm, seems you’ve tried to start the program at the command line.
But it’s a windows-application.
Have you tried to start it out of windows (doubleklick on the icon of the exe in the windows explorer)?
The uncompressed source is about 6.87 MB.
first of all nullskillz, lol the command line runs the same way
like lanz said, get winzip or winrar and then when u right click the file u can go to extract here
and someone posted a tarball here before, u might want to try that, but it needs winzip or winrar or winace or zipzilla or…
why would you want to use cmd to open a file tho? lol i mean you even have explorer open so dont see why you cant just click 2 icons and it’ll be opening… windows xp even has its own default system for opening zip files anyway and this is an exe so that wouldnt matter
nooo, if all it does when ur opening in dos is output a message, mind u it isnt dos either
then running in windows would do nothing, also built in zip is shit. use winzip or winrar as they are the only ones which allow u to extract the files from a self extracting exe
Another reason has come to my mind.
May be you haven’t got rights to write onto disk.
(I’m not sure if this could be a possibility but I think in XP it’s also possible to give users determined rights).
check what error it gives you when you open it normally and I wouldnt extract files using winzip or winrar as I just tried usign winrar and it clusted all the files into one folder not like the normal folder layout the .exe uses
if i use winzip, it can read the table of contents all right but when i try to unzip i get the error
Error in file #1: bad Zip file offset (Error local header signature not found): 28172.
i am using winzip ver 9 beta build 5480
i downloaded it from worthplaying, ill try a diferent file serv this afternoon NZST.
