Search is your friend, but i’ll try to help.
Have you caulc’ed unseen surfaces?
Is your map properly vis-blocked?
Again, try to search

(redfox) #3

yh, i have caulked as many as possible and i have searched… but i still haven’t get a good answer. what is vis?

(-SSF-Sage) #4

Wasn’t this because of too many portals seen? So try to detail as many brushes as you can without destroying the VIS block. You should do that anyway. Also try bigger _blocksize (in your worldspawn).

(redfox) #5

hmm… i don’t have a big map at all. and i really don’t understand what’s VIS. , thanks anyway

(DeatH) #6

Just make sure things like tables, chairs, window frames and anything like that are all DETAIL.

(Ziggy) #7

Try this, hide all 6 brushes that make up your walls to hide your map from void. Select everything “I”, and make it all detail. unhide your 6 faces “Shift-I” and make sure those faces are structural. compile and see what happens.

(rambo13) #8

dsnt ppl make brushes with hint texture for that, just quessing

(redfox) #9

what does it mean? DETAIL? how can i make that? :o
