Help needed on ET Server.

Waz^ all! I was wondering if one of you could please tell me how to fix a problem with starting an ET server. I already have a RTCW server so I know the config language, if I can just get the ET server working I should be off to a good start.
Here’s what I got: When I execute any .cfg, even a simple one on the “ET Console”, it shutsdown and I need to uninstall -> reinstall the game too.
If I try opening the server with a .bat file I made in “Command Prompt” which works on RTCW (I modified it for ET of course), it starts the “ET Console”, then seconds later says something like “Watchdog will activate in 4 seconds.” then it shutsdown right away (less than 4 seconds).
Just wondering why this is and how to fix these 2 things. I might be able to get shrubet working, dunno.
