I was finishing my map making certain textures detail textures (got the how to from 2bit’s manual).
I added some objects before making things detail textures.
Made almost everything detail except water side walls and of course the surrounding sky.
I was looking at the feature on how to make a light flikker but I didnt activate or change or add anything.
This was supposed to be the final version. 
The attached file was made before the flikkering started.
HELP my map light is flikkering!
Could you give a lil more details, Some1 might be familiar with this prob but doesn’t seem like it.
You said you looked at a feature for making the light flikker but didn’t activate it, - and now the light IS flikkering, kinda suspicios… 
e.g. .map file with the flikkering’?, or something like that, a still image wont really help even if taken OF the flikkering (which wouldnt rly work to show with a ss)
Ok, well I am compiling again after making all detail structural again.
And making all that can be detail detail again.
If it still flikkers I will post a movie.
from the screenshot, making everything structural is not recommended, since all that structural
adds to bsp size, and is not very efficient.
when you say flickering, do you mean some things are flickering? or every brush in the map?
im getting the feeling that you mistakenly duplicated your brushwork, meaning you have
duplicates sitting in the same place, which can cause flickering issues on surfaces…
