HELP I can't play the game due to Black Screen, Login Error, Authentication failed...

I tried turning off Firewall, Bitdefender, and overlay but still get the same results of having a black screen and my mouse pointer. I have a small loader thing when i start up but it disappears and music plays with a black screen.

I’ve been having the same problem for the last few hours. Today was the first time I launched the game with this being the only result.

I posted a few times on the steam forums and someone there said they were looking into the problem.

The first thing they said to try was to verify your game cache. Go to your game in your library>right click>properties>local files>verify integrity

I hope that works for you but it did nothing for me. I’m still hoping for a chance to play before the beta is over!

It did nothing to me too, I did that before I posted this. It always says i have one file to download and once its done, still same problem. After awhile when i verify it again, it says that i have one less file to download, again, same problem.

I managed to make it work, u have to turn off all firewall, antivirus, etc. and uninstall the game while u still have em all turned off. Then installed the game, with the turned off firewall , antivurs and all. Thats how i got through.
