help: how to create cartoon style shadows

hello, what I want to have is a cartoon styled shadows:
in particular: I want very black shadows , I don’t want “progressive” and “diffuse” shadows (I don’t want grey shadows or realistic shadows).
Could someone help me ?
Need I tweak my lights in my level or need I use a combination of special compile parameters to achieve this effect ?
Hum, need I tweak my lightmap after exporting it and then import it ?

Shadows are always pure black. Either light hits a surface or it doesn’t. Light attenuation, however, creates the shading differences.

Lightmaps are fairly low-resolution. They will always be a little blurry, approaching diffused light.

You could use vertex light, I suppose…
