Hey, I just started mapping a few days ago, and I’ve been checking these forums a lot, but have just gotten around to registering. I created a basic map after reading the tutorials, but I was wondering how important it was to make sure textures don’t overlap. I have a floor, and it has some blocks on it, but the bottom sides are caulked. Is this going to present a problem in future (hopefully larger and more complex) maps?
On another note, my map doesn’t seem to end sometimes, after someone blows up the objective. It says the announcements, but it just keeps on going. Here’s a snippet of the code, maybe it will help.
